BG EMERALD (1,004 TEU) is delivered

Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard of China has completed the series of four short sea container vessels ordered and managed by Reederei Jüngerhans. The four newbuildings BG DIAMON, BG JADE, BG SAPPHIRE and BG EMERALD are chartered by BG Freight and arranged by Arkon Shipping.
The vessels are especially designed to accommodate 488 x 45ft containers, a large variance of special wide, long and high containers as well as tank containers and are equipped with 253 reefer plugs. The container securing system with portable securing fittings was supplied by German Lashing.
