Container Securing System for two RCL New Buildings

German Lashing had the pleasure to receive the orders of supplying the container securing system to two of RCL’s (Regional Container Lines) new buildings in the last two months. These two container carriers are named MV Panja Bhum and MV Otana Bhum, each with a capacity of 1002 TEU. The vessels are GL classed, with a speed of 18.7 Knots and 277 units of reefer containers aboard. RCL started the operation of its first feeder containership in 1979. Presently RCL owns and operates 41 container vessels ranging from 500 to 3000 TEU and covering more than 70 destinations in Asia, Australasia and the Middle East.
