German Lashing Shanghai office has moved to a larger working space in the “Summit Centre”. The head office China is under constant expansion, taking care of German Lashing’s increasing business operation in Asia.
In year 2008, projects for well-known Chinese ship yards with fixed fitting deliveries for 110 New Buildings of different vessel types and sizes were realized. In the same period, German Lashing delivered container loose fittings, among others to RCL, Norwest, Sinotrans, OOCL and COSCO for their container carrier New Buildings of a range between 900 -10.000 TEU. In addition to the supply of lashing products, engineering support for cell guide, deck stanchion and lashing bridge design has been provided to various Chinese ship yards.
