New order for Delphis NV 2,500 TEU New Building Series

German Lashing has received the order for the supply of fixed as well as loose container securing equipment for a series of container vessel new buildings with a capacity of 2,500 TEU.
The owner Delphis NV, Belgium is going to extend their fleet with six vessels, which will be built at Hyundai Heavy Ind., South Korea. The delivery of the first vessel is scheduled for end of year 2008 and the other 5 sister vessels will be put into service 2009/2010. The main dimensions of these vessels are LOA: 210m and a breadth of 30,2m. Maximum speed: 21 knots.
